Consultation:
We at Iron Fireman place high value in understanding our
customers technical needs and operational objectives. Often, on any given
engineering project there maybe several technically sound solutions, each one
having its own merits. It is for this reason that we welcome the opportunity
to meet with the engineer/s concerned and assist them in their technical
evaluation.
Gaskets & Glasses:
We are able to supply gaskets and glasses for all Level
Gauges and where necessary are able to have glass cut to the customers
requirements.
Equipment Guarantee and OEM Spares:
Where the make of gauge is known, please stipulate whether OEM spares are
required. The use of generic spares is likely to invalidate any equipment
guarantee and could result in 3rd party claims against the manufacturer not
being honoured. This is particularly important in severe duty applications.
High Heat Sealants:
Unfortunately Hi-Heat Dum-Dum is
no longer available from the manufacturers.
In most cases we have found the best alternative to be Press-Seal. Please contact

Micas:
Mica is a mined product, having a lattice structure. One of the most
common uses for low-grade mica is electrical insulation.
It is also pulverised
as an additive of paint products. Whilst our stock holding consists of Gauge
Glass micas, we are able to supply mica in any desired length, width and
thickness to meet our customer�s requirement.
Workshop Facilities:
We have extensive in-house workshop capabilities which are
technically well supported by our principals.
We are therefore well equipped to
service, repair and maintain all of our product lines.
